NIGERIA 15120 Voice of Nigeria (VON), Ikorodu, good reception of their
French service from 0700-0757 and English 1500-1559 on Apr 18. Keeping an
ear on 15120 I noticed that there was no evening broadcast of VON Apr 18
and no morning broadcast Apr 19 on that channel. Maybe they now switch to
the new transmitter station?
(Harald Kuhl-D, dswci DXW May 5 direct and via dxld)
15120 I am not hearing V. of Nigeria when I should be, such as around
0500 UT; or 1907 UT May 9. Airings have been constantly changing as they
are bringing new Abuja transmitter online, so is there any reliable
schedule? Has anyone else noticed them absent lately? Aoki showed Ikorodu
on 15120 kHz was supposed to be in English at 05-07, 15-16, 17-21 UT.
(Glenn Hauser-OK-USA, dxld May 12)
V of Nigeria was noted here today, 9 May, on 15120 kHz with a strong
signal between 1500-1600 UT.
(Alan Roe-UK-USA, dxld May 14)
This is the time & frequencies I have heard them on:
