Intermodulation on 14020 kHz by mix of 13600 and 13810 kHz of IRIB.
OM Uli DL3XZ has stumbled over a BC signal on 14020 kHz, 8 Nov 2010 and
has sent me a report. So, by attentive listening, I have found out more
about the signal:
Here in Tuebingen the signal is audible from 0630 till 0730 UT s/off with
max. S8-signal. Beam heading is 085 degs. with my 3-Element FB-33. It is
an IM of V.o.IRIB (IRN) BC. The two QRGs involved are:
1) 13600 kHz with French px S=9+40dB
2) 13810 kHz with Albanian (Squiptar) px S=9+40dB
1st mix: 13810 kHz x 2 - 13600 kHz = 14020 kHz
2nd mix: 13600 kHz x 2 - 13810 kHz = 13990 kHz (also audible here in
Tuebingen)
After 0730 UT, when 13810 and 13600 kHz are switched off, both IMs have
gone. Will you pse also listen and report to your national telecoms
authorities if you hear the stn.

ISRAEL 15760 KOL Israel in Persian sce at 1525 UT Oct 31. S=9+15dB, but
propagation decreasing now. // poor 13850 and Iranian wobbler jamming.

JAPAN {CLANDESTINE to DPR Korea} 5985.0 Shiokaze/Sea Breeze via
Yamata, Japan, at 1402 UT on Oct 31. Ex6135 kHz; interfering with Myanmar
on 5985.83 kHz. Once the No.Korean jamming finds them here, Myanmar will
be blocked for over an hour, as the jamming starts early and continues on
past Shiokaze's sign off (1430* UT).

KAZAKHSTAN 6225 Bible Voice Broadcasting via Alma-Ata. On Nov 9 at
*1405-1420* UT. Broadcast in the Cantonese Language with opening
announcements, IF for BVB, into religious program, Off at 1420 UT, with ID
and web site for BVBN and promotion for the 'Final Chapter'series. Also
heard the English BCB on the 6th from 1410-14:35* UT with male preacher in
EG, gave the website at the end, sign-off melody.

KOREA DPR 6250.52 Domestic program from North Korea Pyongyang in Korean
at 1750 UT Oct 31, signal poor to fair S=6-7. Sweet Korean lady singer.
6250.40 Domestic program from North Korea Pyongyang in Korean at 2230 UT
Nov 2, S=8-9.
VoKOR Pyongyang from Kujang site noted at 6285 kHz, scheduled 1000-2100
UT.
5890 heavy white noise jamming from communist DPR Korea noted at 1900 UT
Oct 31, S=6-7 here in Europe, similar jamming noted every winter season
also at 6003 kHz.
