i.e. the strange schedule the last few months of certain frequencies on
certain days only, expires as of Sept 30, and it's back to two frequencies
for every transmission, every day. Axually a step in the right direxion.
(gh, dxld Sept 29) Americas frequency in B-10 is new 6040 kHz.
SOLOMON ISLANDS SIBC - Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation 9545 kHz
transmitter was restored winter 2009. The transmitter is an ELCO [sic;
ELCOR?], 10 kW tube transmitter. We completely rebuilt it as it never
operated to spec when it was first obtained in the year 2000. 9545 kHz is
off the air again because of the poor Maximum Usable Frequency at this
time of year. It will come on again around November of 2010.
