WJHR has been broadcasting ILLEGALLY.
Glenn, In DXLD and elsewhere, WJHR Milton FL has been reported with what
would appear to be programming.
FCC rule 73.712(a) limits an international broadcast station conducting
equipment tests to voice ID and tones only.
I inquired to the FCC about the status of this station. The Commission
responded that this station has a construction permit and has not filed an
application for license. The station can only do equipment tests, not
actual programming, until a license application is filed and program test
authority (PTA) is granted. PTA and licensed operation must be at 50 kW
PEP.
