9525.9 VOI English, VG signal Monday Aug 9 around 1335 UT with Indonesian
lesson, but we really need some visual aid. Still on the air at 1417 UT in
Indonesian hour atop CRI Russian het on 9525.0 kHz.
9526- VOI, missed more than the first half of this Tuesday's "Exotic
Indonesia" co-produxion with RRI Banjarmasin, but Aug 10 from 1335 UT, VG
signal, no Music Corner, but continuous discussion between the mystery
announcer and someone about Ramadan, puberty vs fasting, and the Ramadan
Cake Fair in Banj which is about to kick off the month. Still talking at
1357:15 UT when CRI Russian carrier comes on 9525.0 kHz, shortly adding
musical prelude, roughly equal levels so a huge collision. 1400 UT brief
English ID, 1401 into warta berita.

IRELAND 927 Unid station noted. The transmission was emanating from a
transmitter which is situated between Mullingar (Co. Westmeath) & Longford
(Co. Longford).

1251 Atlantic Radio is testing from Ireland, apparently from Castlebar,
Mayo. Also on shortwave.

ISRAEL 6973 08 Aug, 1838 UTC, Galei Tzahal, EZ listening and soft jazz
music program with a male DJ. I was a bit surprised to hear the DJ say in
English "This is from my personal collection." First English announcement
I've ever heard on this station. Very good signal level and only summer
noise to deal with. Slight to moderate fading.

KOREA DPR 4450 KCBS, 1003-1015 UT. Noted steady Korean Language
comments by a female. She was very dramatic with her comments. At 1007 UT
a male sings. Signal was poor but better than usual.
