I wouldn't read too much into the wording. I suspect the discussion has
more to do with VT being able to negotiate a favourable price, as RA's
budget is very limited. I wouldn't call it 'media politics', it's simply
business. I cannot comment on the situation regarding Darwin as I am not a
lawyer.

AUSTRALIA/TURKEY 11660 Radio Australia Shepparton in English, S=9+20dB
signal at 1500-1520 UT Feb 11, which shows the spring propagation is going
on. In the morning around 6-8 UT also both RA outlets 11945 and 15160 kHz
catched here now in southern Germany.
RA 11660 suffered by co-channel QRM of poor TRT Cakirlar signal in Arabic
at 1500-1600 UT, but latter on odd 11659.87 kHz, and not covered in AOKI
list.

CUBA Came across of two morning outlets in Spanish on 13680 and 15360
kHz in 1400-1500 UT segment. S=8-9 signal on Feb 11. And tentativelly also
UNID station on 13770 kHz transmission was from Cuba?

CZECH REP Radio Prag - um 11.00 UTC die deutsche Sendung mit knalligem
Signal auf 7345 kHz.
Uebrigens: Der aktuelle Print-Sendeplan vermerkt fuer den 17.02.2010 und
den 17.03.2010 Wartungsarbeiten am Sender, wodurch zahlreiche Sendungen an
diesen Tagen ausfallen. Das deutsche Programm ist dann nur via Sines /
Portugal auf 7285 kHz um 1730 UTC empfangbar.
