1. In terms of first t<strong>im</strong>e high resolution we can now see the former SW<br />

site of: Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk in Russia. From the Excel files we have the<br />

coordinates as:<br />

46 50 33 N 142 53 05 E<br />

Many masts can still be seen. Hopefully Victor & <strong>Wolfgang</strong> can tell us more<br />

about the site & its antennas. Also if anyone can tell us the date of the<br />

last SW BCB transmission from this site, we be pleased to hear from you.<br />

2. EXTRACT FROM BING MAPS BLOG<br />

The Bing Maps <strong>im</strong>agery release for January 2010 release is SO BIG we had to<br />

break it into two parts - not kidding! The January 2010 Part 1 release is<br />

558,000 square kilometers of <strong>im</strong>agery consisting of:<br />

* Germany's Ruhrgebiet<br />

* Belgium<br />

* Luxembourg<br />

* Vancouver - Sea to Sky Hwy to Squamish and beyond<br />

* Additional <strong>im</strong>agery scattered throughout Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary,<br />

Poland, Latvia and Turkey.<br />

If anyone finds further new <strong>im</strong>agery of SW sites or notable MW ones from<br />

this latest update please drop us a line.<br />
