4. Prinsipper og metodologi som ligger til grunn for de norske kostrådene
Oppdatering av kostrådene
Ernæringsforskning er et av de mest aktive internasjonale medisinske forskningsområdene. Nasjonale
kostråd bør derfor reflektere den til enhver tid etablerte status innen ernæringsforskningen. ”Kostråd
for å fremme folkehelse og forebygge kroniske sykdommer” reflekterer dagens forskningsmessige
status. Kostrådene bør oppdateres med jevne mellomrom når ny vitenskapelig dokumentasjon krever
dette.
