5.5.4.1.3 Reformatting a Partition
In addition to formatting a newly created partition, you can reformat an existing partition with either
EXT2, EXT3, FAT32, or NTFS file systems, allowing both Read and Write access.
Note: For security reasons, it is recommended to format disk partitions with the EXT2 or
EXT3 file system.
To reformat a partition:
1. In the ‘Disks’ section of the ‘Disk Management’ screen, click the disk’s link. The ‘Disk
Information’ screen appears.

2. In the ‘Partitions’ section, click the action icon of the partition you would like to edit.
The ‘Partition Properties’ screen appears.

3. Click the ‘Format Partition’ button. The ‘Partition Format’ screen appears.
