2.42.2 Meet Me Page Answer
Description
Any station may respond to a “Meet Me” Page request over a Paging Zone; the user can answer
the page from any station and be connected to the paging party.
Flexible buttons of an LIP Phone may be assigned as a {MEET ME} button.
Operation
LIP Phone
To assign a Flex button as a {meet me} button:
1. Lift the handset, press [PGM] + {FLEX} + ‘511’ + [SAVE].
To answer a page with Meet Me Page:
1. Lift the handset, or press the [SPEAKER] button.
2. Dial 511 (Meet Me Page code) or press the {MEET-ME} button.
Or
3. Press the [HOLD] button.

To answer a page with Meet Me Page:
1. Lift the handset to receive intercom dial tone.
2. Dial 511 (Meet Me Page code).
Conditions
1. A Meet Me Page must be answered within the Page Time-out timer.
2. A station may answer a Meet Me Page from any station regardless of pickup/paging group
assignments and page access permission.
3. The paging party must remain off-hook until the paged party answers the Meet Me request;
the initiator may press the Mute button to eliminate transmitting over the page circuit while
waiting for the party to answer.
