Note: You can also instruct iPECS SBG-1000 to check the disk for bad blocks prior to
formatting it, by selecting the corresponding check box. Only the disk space consisting of
healthy blocks will be formatted. Bad blocks will be ignored.
4. Select a file system for the partition and click ‘OK’. A warning screen appears, alerting you
that all the data on the partition will be lost.

5. Click ‘OK’ to format the partition. The screen refreshes as the partition formatting
progresses.

When the format is complete, the status changes to ‘Ready’.
