II.3.7. Intercommunicability between public and private higher educati<strong>on</strong><br />

It is possible to transfer from a public higher educati<strong>on</strong> <strong>in</strong>stituti<strong>on</strong> to a private <strong>on</strong>e and vice versa, accord<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>the</strong> rules set up<br />

by <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>stituti<strong>on</strong> itself. The equivalence of discipl<strong>in</strong>es is assessed <strong>on</strong> an <strong>in</strong>dividual basis, after <strong>the</strong> analysis of <strong>the</strong> candidate’s<br />

curriculum, by <strong>the</strong> validat<strong>in</strong>g academic body of <strong>the</strong> higher educati<strong>on</strong> <strong>in</strong>stituti<strong>on</strong> c<strong>on</strong>cerned. Accord<strong>in</strong>gly, a new study<br />

programme may be set up, if it seems necessary.
