Parameters of the Social Force Model in VISSIM 7.6 Parameters of the Social Force Model in VISSIM The parameters of the model can be categorized into three groups: 1. Parameters of the original model (by pedestrian type). 2. Parameters of the model extensions for VISSIM (by pedestrian type). 3. Implementation-specific global parameters include all discretization parameters: E.g. for models formulated using a continuous time. As analytical approaches to solve the differential equations are only possible in scenarios of limited size in any respect, time needs to be discretized in some way to make a simulation on a computer possible.
