Point, Purpose, Destination; Space, Distance; Location and Time; Accusative of Direction –
its primary function; 9. The Direct Object – its last function; These functions are adverbial
rather than ‘actanciel’. Some of the interesting and important data are: locative as genitive,
ablative as accusative, ablative as accusative in different affective constructions, genitive by
rādiy-postposition as Agent (agentival postposition), pronoun clitic forms and functions and
so on. The connection with Word Order seems important too: a lot of specific, special
usages are marked by the feature of postpositional, postpredicative position (inversion).
Thus, several discretes must be distinguished: interchange or replacement, syncretism or
coincidence and morphological origin of case forms themselves. The article particularly
analyses the realization in the general regularity of usage (the normative usage) as well as
by unique examples (partial typology and variants). The result is various functions of case
forms.
