“When I have got the information, I then post it to my friends to check it one<br />

more time. It starts from a friend and expanding to be the social network for helping<br />

4.Seeking the new group of friends who have the same interest<br />

The students who provided information still searched for new friends who had<br />

the same interest. At the beginning Facebook was merely for searching for new<br />

friends not only who liked playing the same games but also who had the same hobby.<br />

On the other hand, some students had new friends from online social network that<br />

participated in the same political groups during the severe political situation. In doing<br />

so, they could share their opinion that they had the same agreement well. This<br />

phenomenon allowed the integration of people with the same ideas and passion.<br />

The students who provide information said<br />

“I have had my opinion on the page board “WeLoveThai”. Suddenly,<br />

someone press the "like" in my opinion more than ten times and people who are a<br />

member of this page adding me as their friend because they think that I have the same<br />

interests with them.”<br />

“I have more friends on social network by helping each other to find, share<br />

and update what happens and what the situation is now. Some friends stay around the<br />

severe situation and they will update the situation that are current and new and at the<br />

end we are political social network.”<br />

“I never thought I will have new friends who are interested in politics and I<br />

never thought I will interest in politics but when you have a new network, I am more<br />

interested in politics. People think like me as I thought. It seems that I am an up-todate<br />

person and I have the social network that helps each other to find and update<br />

information among groups of friends. We know the latest news all the time.”<br />

5.Facebook suited with lifestyle of university students today<br />

The students who provided information commented on the speed performance<br />

of online social network like Facebook that could send information in real time. In<br />

addition, it could create awareness quickly and information was fresh and easy to<br />

access. With the space of Facebook that opened widely to express various opinion.<br />

The receivers could be the senders at the same time.<br />

Students who provide information said<br />

"Normally I login Facebook almost every day to play game mostly. Sometimes<br />

I chat with friends. But when a political crisis occurred, some friends post and update<br />

the news and pictures of the rally on their web board so I have received news and<br />

follow up news as well.”<br />
