definition of reality as an accumulated entity that is the result of a particular witnessing<br />

at a particular time. A final quote from Mark Kingwell will back this aim: “The truth of<br />

the image is the truth of time: not its metaphysical essence, whatever that might be, but<br />

its presence; its inescapability. A photograph, I want to say, is a machine for making<br />
