2) Gurudwara SuchKhand Nanded Sahib - Funds released - Rs.9.17 crore (upto<br />

2008-09). No funds released during 2009-10 and 2010-11.<br />

An outlay of Rs. 1000.00 lac is provided for the 11 th Five Year Plan (2007-<br />

<strong>12</strong>). An expenditure of Rs. <strong>12</strong>5.00 lac and Rs. 1000.00 lac has been incurred during 2008-09<br />

and 2009-10 respectively. No expenditure was incurred during 2010-11. An amount of Rs.<br />

2500.00 lac is provided in the Annual Plan <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong>. This grant is to be provided by the 13 th<br />

Finance Commission.<br />

AC-I(i) Repayment of monthly installment/interest of the loan raised from<br />

nationalized banks for completion of Khalsa Hertiage Complex,<br />

Anandpur Sahib.<br />

Outlay - Rs. 2500.00 lac<br />

11.4.4 The Khalsa Hertiage Complex, Anandpur Sahib was started in 1998. For<br />

completion of this project, the Government of <strong>Punjab</strong> as well as Government of India<br />

provided grant-in-aid from time to time upto 2003-04. Later on, the bank loan of Rs. 100.00<br />

crore was raised by Anandpur Sahib foundation in March 2005 on the qurantee of the<br />

Government of <strong>Punjab</strong>(FD) from the five banks (<strong>Punjab</strong> and Sind Bank, Sector 17-C, Chd.,<br />

Canara Bank, Sector 17-C, Chd, Union Bank of India, Sector 35-C, Chd., Oriential Bank<br />

Commerce, Sector 19-C, Chd., and Central Bank of India, V.P.O. Ajrawar Distt. Patial) i.e<br />

Rs. 20.00 crore from each bank. Repayment of first installment of principle loan is to be<br />

started w.e.f. 1-7-09. An outlay of Rs. 2500.00 lac is provided in the Annual Plan <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong>.<br />

AC-2 Grant-in –aid to <strong>Punjab</strong> Arts Council[ Renamed – Grant-in-aid to<br />

<strong>Punjab</strong> Arts Council and other literary and musical institutes<br />

Outlay – Rs. 500.00 lac<br />

11.4.4(i) The <strong>Punjab</strong> Arts Council was set up by the state government with a<br />

endowment grant of about Rs. 1.00 crore. Later on, three Academies namely <strong>Punjab</strong> Sangeet<br />

Natak Academy, <strong>Punjab</strong> Sahitya Academy and <strong>Punjab</strong> Lalit Kala Academy were set up under<br />

this Council. Grant-in-aid is provided to the <strong>Punjab</strong> Arts Council, Chandigarh to meet its<br />

establishment expenses and expenses of other three Academies. Grant has been announced<br />

by Hon’ble Finance Minister for <strong>Punjab</strong> Sahitya Academy, Ludhiana, Institution of<br />

devotional music at Sultanpur Lodhi, Baba Harvallabh Sangeet Sammelen, Jalandhar and 8<br />

other non-profit institutes during <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong>.<br />

An outlay of Rs. 250.00 lac has been provided for the 11 th Five Year Plan<br />

(2007-<strong>12</strong>). An expenditure of Rs. 50.00 lac has been incurred during 2008-09. An amount of<br />

Rs. 500.00 lac is provided in the Annual Plan <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong> against the expenditure of Rs. <strong>12</strong>.50<br />

lac during 2010-11.<br />
