remaining Fard Kendras in the <strong>State</strong>.With the help of high Resolution Satellite Imagery, a<br />

Land Survey Project is being undertaken in select location of <strong>Punjab</strong> by establishing Ground<br />

Control Points and super imposing the digitized Mussavis. The project envisages updation of<br />

Land Records as per the ground reality and will ease land demarcation and partition in a<br />

transparent manner. Under this project 156 Fard Kendra will be opened at each tehsil and<br />

sub-tehsil level. 99 Fard Kendra have already been opened and record of about 5000 villages<br />

have been computerized.<br />

<strong>12</strong>.9.8 Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 1085.55 lac was sanctioned for the<br />

<strong>Punjab</strong> (Bathinda, Jalandhar and <strong>State</strong> level Data Centre) during 2008-09 by Ministry of<br />

Rural Development, (Department of Land Resources – Land Reforms Division), Govt. of<br />

India. Out of this amount, Rs. 814.17 lac as a Ist installment towards the central share was<br />

released during 2008-09. This amount is yet to be released/utilized. Balance amount of<br />

Rs. 271.38 lac is also yet to be released by GOI. No expenditure was incurred during 2009-<br />

10. An amount of Rs. 875.05 lac was sanctioned/released by GOI during 2010-11. No<br />

expenditure was incurred during 2010-11. An outlay of Rs. 100.00 lac is provided in the<br />

Annual Plan <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong>.<br />

RR-4: Assistance to Bar Associations at district and sub-divisional level for<br />

<strong>12</strong>.9.9 Under this scheme assistance is provided to Bar Associations at district and<br />

sub-divisional level for construction of bar rooms, advocate chambers and bar libraries. The<br />

norms to be adopted for implementation of this scheme are as under:-<br />

o The financial assistance would be provided only to the bar association and not to any<br />

particular individual.<br />

o Assistance would be provided to Bar Association at district and sub-division level<br />

only for construction of bar rooms, advocate chambers and bar libraries and the<br />

maintenance expenditure of these assets would be borne by the concerned Bar<br />

Associations.<br />

o Bar Association is required to get the estimates prepared from any Engineer and<br />

would submit their proposal to the concerned DC. The DC would get it examine these<br />

proposals and send these to PWD for vetting. In case the estimates are not prepared<br />

by any Engineer, then these would be got prepared from PWD. Thereafter, the
