Configuring the VQ Inspector Monitor for the Avaya Communication Manager
The following additional fields are displayed for SNMP version
3:
Auth Mode – Select the authentication mode.
NoAuth/NoPriv – No authentication and no privileges.
Auth/NoPriv – Authentication and no privileges.
Auth/Priv – Both Authentication and privileges.
User Name – Enter the user name to use to log in to the SNMP
version 3 protocol.
Password – Enter the password to use to log in to the SNMP
version 3 protocol.
Auth – Select the authentication hashing function to use: MD5
or SHA.
Privacy Mode – Select the method to use for encrypting the
data.
Privacy Password – If you have selected a privacy mode,
enter the password.
Context – Enter the context setting that matches the setting in
the device that is being monitored. Typically, it is a name that
describes the device. For example, ―bridge.‖
Time Out – The amount of time, in seconds, to wait for data
from the Avaya Communications Manager before timing out.
CDR Configuration – The CDR configuration specifies the index
and length of the fields. This information must match what is
configured on the CDR System Parameters dialog box in the
Avaya CM and must take into account spaces. For example, if
your Avaya CM is configured as follows:
