OneSight Agent Proxy
C:\Empirix\OneSight\Properties> net start
EmpirixAgentProxy
To stop the service from the command window type the
following:
C:\Empirix\OneSight\Properties> net stop
EmpirixAgentProxy
8. The OneSight Agent Proxy should now be up and running. It
will create log files with the naming convention
Proxy_console.txt.X where X will denote a number. The most
recent or active log file is always the file without a number.
Data Collector or Remote Agent Configuration
1. Open the OSDC.Properties file from the
\Empirix\DataCollector\Properties directory or
\Program Files\Empirix\OneSight\Properties and locate the
COMM section. The default looks like this:
Comm.ServerName = localhost
#Comm.ServerPort = 5007
#Comm.ConnectFrom = 192.168.0.102
Comm.ServerName is the name of the OneSight Server.
Comm.ServerPort is the port on which the OneSight Server will
listen for the DataCollector or Remote Agent.
Comm.ConnectFrom is the external IP address of the OneSight
Server if it is within a DMZ or is subject to NAT.
To enable this so the DataCollector uses port 5777 to
communicate to the OneSight server you would uncomment the
Comm.ServerPort line so the section looks like this:
Comm.ServerName = localhost
Comm.ServerPort = 5777
#Comm.connectFrom = 192.168.0.102
2. Save the file and restart the Data Collector.
