2. Under Servers, specify the port number following the server
name (separated by a colon), where is the nonstandard
port. For example: mailhost.company.com:
3. If you are using the default SMTP port 25, you do not need to
specify it in this box.
4. Click OK to preserve these settings.
Configuring Global Incoming E-Mail Options
Use the Incoming E-Mail tab to configure the e-mail account that
will be monitored for replies to e-mail actions. OneSight will not
monitor the e-mail server if there are no outstanding action plans.
If OneSight cannot connect to the email server, it will write a
message to the OneSight log.
Note: If you are using Microsoft Outlook, line breaks may be
removed, resulting in poorly formatted alert text. To make Outlook
stop removing extra line breaks:
1. Select Options from the Tools menu in Outlook.
2. Click the E-mail Options button on the Preferences tab.
3. Uncheck Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages.
