Creating SLOs
Average – averages the results of the selected metrics. For
example, if you have three ping monitors and the first is
available 100% of the time, the second 95% of the time, and
the third is 90% of the time, the average is 95%.
Minimum – takes the lowest value of all of the monitors in the
group. In the above example, the minimum availability is
90%.
Add – adds the SLO.
Remove – deletes the selected SLO.
6. Select the metrics to use in the SLO.
7. Enter a name, select the type of compounding, and click Create
SLOs.
This dialog box lets you set up availability and metric
performance SLOs for individual monitors. You can set up one
or both of these SLOs . Each SLO will be displayed separately in
the Configure Service Level Agreements dialog box. They will
be labeled as Avail or Metric Perf.
This dialog box has the following options:
Name – the name of the SLO.
