Configuring JMX Monitors
To create a JMX monitor:
1. On the Monitors Page, click Add to open the Add Monitor
dialog box.
2. The Monitor Types box lists all of the types of monitors that
can be applied to your monitor group. Click JMX to add a
monitor that checks the availability and responsiveness of a
selected monitor from the JMX service. You will use settings on
the General tab to configure a JMX monitor.
Import/Export – Click this button to display the Import Export
Monitors dialog box for importing or exporting monitors of this
type. Refer to ―Exporting and Importing Monitors,‖ later in this
chapter for more information.
JMX App name – The name of the JMX application. Valid
entries are those listed or a user-created name in the Data
Collector’s OSDC.properties file.
