Configuring FTP Monitors
2. The Monitor Types box lists all of the types of monitors that
can be applied to your monitor group. Click FTP to add a
monitor that checks the availability and responsiveness of an
FTP server. Use settings on the General tab to configure each
FTP monitor.
Use the options on this tab to specify how the FTP monitor will
connect with an FTP server and GET a file. For case-sensitive
servers, be sure to use the appropriate case when typing the
values used to communicate with the FTP server.
Import/Export – Click this button to display the Import Export
Monitors dialog box for importing or exporting monitors of this
type. Refer to ―Exporting and Importing Monitors,‖ later in this
chapter for more information.
Server Address – Specifies the host name or IP address of the
FTP server.
