different steps to enable remote syslogs. Following is an example:
Vi /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf
Uncomment the following line to make it listen on port 514:
#udp(ip(“10.12.34.110”) port(514));
Restart the syslog-ng service:
Syslog-ng –f /etc/syslog-ng/syslog-ng.conf
In the Action Manager, when you click Syslog in the Action Types
list, the bottom portion of the dialog box displays options for
configuring a Syslog action.
To add a Syslog action:
1. On the Action Plans page, click Global Actions.
2. In the Global Action List Manager, click New.
