Configuring Global Action Options
4. From the Action Type list box, choose the SNMP action type.
Use the following options to specify how the SNMP action is
configured:
Name – Displays the common name for this action. This name
is used to identify this action throughout the OneSight system.
Action Type – Displays the current notification type.
Message Template – Displays the list of message templates. By
default, OneSight selects the message template most
appropriate for the specified action type. You can also create
your own custom message templates. See Adding Message
Templates for details.
Modify – Displays the Modify Alert Message Template dialog
box for modifying the selected message template.
Escalation Timeout – Time (in minutes) before this action
performs the next action in the list.
