Configuring a Profile Monitor
Password – Specify the password required to log into the
User Name account on the system.
Login Timeout (ms) – Specify the number of milliseconds to
wait before timing out when logging in.
Discovery Timeout (ms) – Specify the number of milliseconds
to wait before timing out when doing discovery.
Debug Mode – Specify whether to use debug mode.
Setup Discovery Windows NT
User name – Enter the user name for a system account that
has rights to read the NT Windows Registry.
Domain – Specify the domain name of the Windows NT
machine.
Password – Specify the password required by the system
when logging in with the user name specified in the User
Name box.
Setup Discovery for Database
Driver – Select a driver type from the list: jTDS JDBC Driver
for Microsoft SQL Server, Inet Sprinta JDBC driver for
Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Thin JDBC driver, Sun
JDBC:ODBC Bridge, DataDirect JDBC Driver for Microsoft
SQL Server, or Custom. You must have the appropriate driver
installed on the OneSight Server to discover database
components.
Driver String – This information will vary depending on the
type of database that you are monitoring. If you selected any
option other than Custom, the appropriate string is
automatically displayed. For example, this is the string for
the Oracle Thin JDBC driver:
