Editing VQ Probes
VQ Probe using the network interface properties page on the
probe itself. To do this, you must use static IP addresses, not
DHCP. If you use DHCP, you will not be able to add multiple
IP addresses to the interface. To add IP addresses:
1. Select Settings from the Start menu, then select Network
Connections.
2. Double-click on the network interface you are
configuring.
3. Click the Properties button on the General tab.
4. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
5. Select Use the following IP address.
6. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway,
preferred DNS server, and the alternate DNS server.
7. Click Advanced.
8. Click Add.
9. Enter the other IP addresses you wish to add using the
same subnet mask entered previously.
10. Click OK when done.
11. Click OK.
Extension – Enter the first channel’s extension. Subsequent
extensions will be incremented by one.
Media
Codec – Select the codec that the media will be transmitted
in.
