Configuring OneSight Voice Quality - Basic Profile Monitors
Once an extension has been used as an answer extension, it
cannot be used as an originate extension for any Voice Quality
Basic monitors. It can; however, be used as an answer
extension for other Voice Quality Basic monitors.
Alternate Dial Number – Select this check box if an alternative
dial number is being used to call agents. When checked,
is added to the top of the Answer Probe dropdown list. Refer to
“Chapter 16” for a description of the possible configurations.
– Select the dial number to use.
Edit Dial Numbers – Displays the VQ Configuration For Dial
Numbers dialog box and imports the list.
Sample Every: Advanced– Specifies how often
samples are taken for this monitor. Refer to, ―Sample Every
Settings,‖ later in this chapter for a description of these settings.
Note: The sample frequency for Voice Quality Basic monitors
cannot be less than five minutes.
Sample as soon as possible – When you are using the x@y
format, causes the monitor to sample as soon as it can. For
example, if you specified 40@5 and the monitor was started at
12:10, the first sample would normally be at 1:05. If this
checkbox is selected, the first sample will be at 12:45.
3. Each monitor that you add must have a unique name. You can
let OneSight create a unique name using the OneSight Voice
Quality specifications you supply, or you can type in your own
name for the monitor.
4. Select the originate VQ Probe and its extension.
5. Select the Alter. Dial Number check box if you are using an
alternative dial number and select the number to use. You can
configure and import the list of dial numbers by clicking the
Edit Dial Numbers button.
