Configuring Global Action Options
Repeat for good state – when checked, applies to alerts
associated with a return to good state.
Total Counts – The total number of times to repeat this action.
Test – Performs a test of this action as configured. You must
enable this action type in Global Options before a test of this
action will succeed.
HTTP Post/Get Configuration
Web URL – Enter the URL of the web site.
Type of request – Select whether you want to do a get or post.
Message to Post – This field is available when the type of
request is Post. Enter the message to post.
Note: name/value pairs can be defined by name=value,
separated by an ampersand (&). For example,
param_from=onesight&param_msg=timeout. The
name/value pairs posted can be processed by the remote
server which receives the post.
Access Control Tab
The Access Control tab lets you specify which user groups can
read, write, or delete this action.
Owner – The user group for this action. An action can be
directly owned by a single user group.
User Group – Displays the user group names.
Global Read – Gives read access to this user group and all of its
sub user groups.
Read – Gives read permission to the user group.
