Configuring URL Monitors
monitor that checks a URL you provide. Use settings on the
General tab to configure each URL monitor.
Use the options on this tab to specify how the URL monitor will
check the response time for access to a specified URL.
Import/Export – Click this button to display the Import Export
Monitors dialog box for importing or exporting monitors of this
type. Refer to ―Exporting and Importing Monitors,‖ later in this
chapter for more information.
URL Address – Type the URL for the web page you want to
check. The URL must be specified with the full protocol
designation of http or https. For example: http://www.empirix.com.
If you use Get as the HTTP Method (the default), simply include
any additional parameters you want to include as part of the
URL string, for example:
http://search.yahoo.com/bin/search?p=electronics
