Retiring an Action Plan
5. Enter a reminder interval and total count.
6. Under Syslog Configuration section, enter the name or IP
address of the host.
7. Enter the message to send.
8. Click Test to confirm that the information you entered will
create a successful action.
9. Click OK.
Retiring an Action Plan
When you manually terminate the action plan and click Retire, you
can add a note as part of the retirement process. This feature allows
you to add your own information to the action plan’s historical
record. You can review this text in the Action Plan History report.
Action Plans Not Associated With an Alert
You can schedule action plans for specific actions that are not
associated with an alert. For example, if you want to launch a script
to reboot a server on a regularly scheduled basis, or if you want a
schedule so that you receive a page confirming that the OneSight
server is running, you can set up an action plan and then schedule it.
