Configuring Custom Status Views
Remove – Removes the selected item.
Select All – Selects all items in the item list. This is useful
when you want to reposition a group of items simultaneously.
Select None – Deselects all items in the item list.
– Lists all items. The order that the items are
listed determines the Z-order, that is which items can be
placed on top of other items. Items can be placed on items
that are below them on the list. Note that frame items cannot
have items placed on top of them regardless of where they
are in the list. You can select more than one item to move
items simultaneously.
Canvas Pane – The canvas is where you compose the Custom
Status View. Click on the item you want to move in the item list
then drag it to the desired location.
If you need fine grained control when positioning items, you
can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move items one pixel
at a time. These keys function differently depending on the
browser you are using:
Internet Explorer – click the item you want to move using the
mouse, then use the arrow keys to adjust the item’s position.
Firefox – first, click a blank area on the canvas, then click the
item you want to move. Use the arrow keys to adjust the
item’s position.
