Configuring User Groups
A user group is a logical grouping of users that own monitor
groups. All objects that are needed to create a monitor group
(monitors, system, profiles, etc) can be created for a user group and
these objects will be accessible only to users that are members of
the user group (and any super user).
User groups can be hierarchical to match the structure of your
organization.
Each user may belong to only one user group and every object in
the system that is owned by a user group may not be seen or used by
any other user group’s users.
There is a special user group, called Default, that serves as a place
where global objects such as profiles, metrics, and attributes can
reside. Global objects can be used and viewed by all other user
groups.
To add User Groups:
1. Click the Configure menu.
