Configuring Custom Status Views
1. Click Add on the Map Definition tab.
2. Select Monitor Group or Monitor as the item type.
Item Type – Select the type of item you want to add.
Name – Enter a name for the item. If you do not enter a name,
OneSight will automatically create a name, when possible.
Hover Text – Enter the text you want displayed when you
mouse-over the item. For monitors only, you can also enter the
%hover% variable. It displays the same hover text that is
supplied on the top-level status page for monitors. It is
automatically entered into this field for monitors that are
automatically named.
Drill Down URL – Enter the URL of the page you want to display
when you click on the item. For monitor groups and monitors
only, you can also enter the %drilldown% variable. For monitor
groups, the variable resolves to the selected monitor group’s
detailed status page. For monitors, it resolves to the selected
