Creating Metrics
You can add a metrics from the MIB browser.
1. Click Launch Metric Wizard.
Node Name – Select the node that you want to add.
OID Column – Select Object ID column.
Sample Every (sec) – Specify how often you want this metric to
query the monitored web component for data. In general, the
higher the number, the more efficiently the database operates.
Translation Type – Translation Type settings control how
OneSight translates a metric’s data when displayed on the
OneSight Alerts page and in Reports. If you are modifying a
metric that is provided as part of a profile, use the existing
Translation Type setting:
No Translation – OneSight presents the metric’s data as it is
provided by the metric’s data source.
Rate (minutes) – OneSight presents the metric’s data as a
delta, per minute. If the time interval between two samples
