Installing OneSight
Click Next.
5. Empirix OneSight can use a standard version of Microsoft SQL
Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 for use as the
OneSight production database.
Note: The default password is blank when installing OneSight
with an SQL database.
If you have a previous version of Empirix OneSight, you’ll be
notified of the impact of the database upgrade to your existing
OneSight configuration.
Setup allows you to specify the location of the remote SQL
Server or the drive on which to create database files, and
reminds you to create Remote Folders for OneSight.
If SQL Server is already installed on the OneSight Server:
OneSight Setup will inform you that OneSight will use that
installation as its database application. Click Next.
6. Select I accept the License Agreement in the License Agreement
dialog box and click Next.
7. Select OneSight Server from the list of features to install and
click Next.
8. The SSL Configuration dialog box is displayed. Select either
HTTP on port or HTTPS on port. The default port numbers are
displayed for a new installation. The currently configured ports
are displayed for an upgrade. If you change the port, the current
configuration is overwritten.
If you are using HTTPS you can optionally enter SSL certificate
information. The certificate is created regardless of whether
data is entered. The server name must be the DNS resolvable
