Configuring Oracle OpenScript Profile Monitors
You can set up an Oracle OpenScript profile monitor to replay your
scripts previously recorded in Oracle OpenScript and exported as a
.zip file. OneSight supports functional testing for web and load
testing for web/http script types.
Note: The Oracle OpenScript monitor requires the installation of the
OneSight Data Collector for Windows on the host machine running
OpenScript. In addition, OpenScript must be installed on all data
collector locations that are assigned to the monitor.
Note: Only one functional web test can be run on a data collector at
one time.
At specified time intervals, the Oracle OpenScirpt profile monitor
replays an OpenScript Script and measures its response time.
In the Add Monitor dialog box, when you click Oracle OpenScript
in the Monitor Types box, settings to configure an Oracle
OpenScript monitor appear on these dialog box tabs:
General Tab – Contains the options that you can use to create an
Oracle OpenScript monitor for your monitor group.
Advanced Tab – Lets you enter the parameters to use for running
OpenScript scripts from the command line.
Proxy Tab – Displays the authentication data that was imported from
OpenScript when the script was imported. This information is used
for web sites that require login via a popup dialog box. The
authentication data automates the login process during script
playback.
