Changing Session Timeout
The OneSight Server default session timeout is two hours. If you do
not do anything for two hours after you log in, the server terminates
your session. You can change the default session timeout by editing
the following line in the web.xml file in the conf directory.

Changing the OneSight Server Default Port
If you need to change the OneSight server default port, change the
following line in the OSServer.properties file on the OneSight Server.
Web.OneSightServer.Port = 8080
Enabling SSL for the OneSight Server
When you enable SSL for the OneSight server the default way to
access the server becomes https://. The process for
enabling SSL is located in the \empirix\onesight\support\howtohttps.txt
file on the OneSight server.
Updating Profiles After Upgrading OneSight
When you upgrade to a new version of OneSight, newer versions of
profiles may be installed. Use this procedure to upgrade to the new
profiles. If you have customized a profile but have not changed the
name, this procedure replaces the profile. Profiles with altered
names are not affected by this procedure.
To save profiles before upgrading, select the profile in the Profile
Manager and click Clone. A copy of the profile appears in the list.
Note: A copy of the profile is saved in the profiles list; however,
only the original version remains as an applied profile. To apply the
