Configuring Global Action Options
4. From the Action Type list box, choose the HTTP Post/Get action
type.
Use the following options to specify how the HTTP Post/Get
action is configured:
Name – Displays the common name for this action. This name
is used to identify this action throughout the OneSight system.
Action Type – Displays the current notification type.
Escalation Timeout – Time (in minutes) before this action
performs the next action in the list.
Note: This box is required for creating actions. Enter the
amount of time appropriate to the type of action you are
configuring. Entering zero (0) in this box causes this action and
the action following to execute simultaneously.
Escalation time out for good state – when checked, use the
escalation timeout for alerts associated with a return to good
state.
Reminder Interval – Amount of time (in minutes) to wait before
repeating the action if the alert is still valid.
