Installing the OneSight Data Collector or Remote Agent
10. It is recommended that you leave Enable Remote Update
selected.
11. Click Next in the Start Installation dialog box. A few seconds
pass while OneSight Data Collector Setup copies files.
Note: If you are installing the Data Collector to monitor disk
performance on a Windows machine, Diskperf -yv must be
enabled on that machine.
12. In the final Setup dialog box, click Finish. The Data Collector is
installed.
To confirm this:
Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
Double-click Services. The Services dialog box opens.
In the Services list, Empirix OneSight Data Collector
should be listed, with a Status of Started and a Startup value
of Automatic. is the instance number for this Data
Collector starting with one and incrementing one for every
Data Collector instance you install.
To close the Services dialog box, click Close.
