Installing the OneSight Data Collector or Remote Agent
PCs running Windows 2003/2008 Enterprise Server with Service
Pack 2 or higher with 60 GB available disk space.
For instructions on updating OneSight Data Collectors or Remote
Agents remotely, refer to ―Updating Data Collectors or Remote
Agents‖ later in this chapter.
Data Collectors and Remote Agents
A Data Collector is installed on a machine and collects data from
the local machine as well as other remote machines. The Remote
Agent is installed on a single machine and collects data from that
machine. Both send the data back to the OneSight server.
