Description: Casting this spell allows the caster to<br />

remove an internal organ from a target creature.<br />

The target creature must be touched<br />

successfully. If the target creature resists<br />

being touched, then the caster must make a<br />

Brawling skill check (see Chap. 8: Skills) and<br />

a Called Shot (see Chap. 10: Combat).<br />

This spell causes the skin and other<br />

body parts of the target creature to become<br />

very soft surrounding the internal organ<br />

specified by the caster. This spell has no<br />

effect on creatures with hide or better natural<br />

armor.<br />

If successful, the caster is able to<br />

insert their hand into the body of the target<br />

creature and remove the specified internal<br />

organ. The Aedile decides the effect of the<br />

removal of the specified organ. The heart<br />

is a popular choice, since the target creature<br />

is doomed to die within 1-2 minutes. For<br />

this duration, the heart will continue to beat<br />

in the hand of the caster.<br />

Area: 1 creature or object<br />

Duration: 3 rounds to an exponential power equal<br />

to the level of the caster<br />

Ritual: See Chapter 11: Magic<br />

Description: Casting this spell causes the body of<br />

a target creature or object to acclimate to its<br />

environment. Unfortunately, acclimation<br />

takes time. Consult the table below:<br />

Therefore, the 3 rd round after the<br />

spell Acclimation is cast, the target creature<br />

will only feel 60% of the effects of their<br />

environment.<br />

This spell does not affect hunger or<br />

thirst, but usually acclimates a creature or<br />

object to dangerous surroundings, such as<br />

swimming in an acid pool or walking through<br />

fire.<br />

After the spell expires, the target<br />

creature or object will instantly feel the full<br />

effects of their environment again.<br />
