Description: Casting this spell causes a target<br />

creature to become permanently and totally<br />

deaf. Deaf creatures are unable to hear. The<br />

target creature must be touched successfully.<br />

If the target creature resists being touched,<br />

then the caster must make a Brawling skill<br />

check (see Chap. 8: Skills). By passing a<br />

Health check at TH 21, the target creature<br />

is unaffected by the spell and retains their<br />

hearing. If sentient, in time the deaf creature<br />

may be able to learn to read lips.<br />

10 years. The target creature must be<br />

touched successfully. If the target creature<br />

resists being touched, then the caster must<br />

Skills). The Aedile must determine the<br />

lifespan of the target creature. Aging beyond<br />

the creature’s lifespan is <strong>fatal</strong>.<br />

Skills). The random and magical disease that<br />

is acquired is permanent, though it is subject<br />

to all limitations of the real disease.<br />
