Ritual: See Chapter 11: Magic<br />

Description: Casting this spell causes a creature<br />

to be moved instantly or transported to a<br />

location envisioned by the caster. The target<br />

creature must be touched successfully.<br />

If the target creature resists being touched,<br />

then the caster must make a Brawling skill<br />

check (see Chap. 8: Skills). The caster must<br />

have personally been in the exact location<br />

where the target creature is to be transported.<br />

The spell functions by converting<br />

the body of the target into pure energy,<br />

which then seeks the appropriate location<br />

at the speed of light, transforming instantly<br />

back into the target creature at the specified<br />

destination.<br />

The amount of matter that a caster<br />

may teleport depends on their occupational<br />

level. Consult the table below:<br />

In order for the target creature to<br />

be transported successfully to the correct<br />

location, the caster must pass a Reflection<br />

sub-ability check. The caster must consult<br />

the Aedile to determine the TH of the Reflection<br />

check. Below are some suggestions:<br />

However, the significance of the destination<br />

is equally important to Reflection.<br />

If a major life event happened at the location<br />

(such as marriage or divorce, death of a<br />

friend, close call with death, etc.), then the<br />

Aedile may lower the TH by no more than<br />

15.<br />

If the caster fails their Reflection<br />

check, then the target creature is not transported<br />

to the destination. Instead, roll 3d10<br />

and consult the table below:<br />

The target creatures are totally unaffected<br />

by the spell.<br />

The target creatures are converted into pure<br />

energy, and the caster does not know<br />

where their energy is.<br />

The target creatures are transported<br />

(1d100)% of the distance in a random<br />

direction.<br />

The target creatures are transported<br />

(1d100)% of the distance in the correct<br />

direction.<br />
