The list of phobias presented in this appendix is for use with phobia as a mental illness from<br />

Chapter 5: Mind. To randomly determine a phobia, roll (1d6 - 1) and treat the result as the hundreds<br />

position, and then roll 1d100; this yields a range from 001 to 600. Consult the listing below:<br />

001. Ablutophobia: Fear of washing or bathing.<br />

002. Acarophobia: Fear of itching, or of the insects that cause itching.<br />

003. Acerophobia: Fear of sourness.<br />

004. Achluophobia: Fear of darkness.<br />

005. Acousticophobia: Fear of noise.<br />

006. Acrophobia: Fear of heights.<br />

007. Aerophobia: Fear of drafts, air swallowing, or airbourne noxious substances.<br />

008. Aeroacrophobia: Fear of open, high places.<br />

009. Aeronausiphobia: Fear of vomiting secondary to airsickness.<br />

010. Agateophobia: Fear of insanity.<br />

011. Agliophobia: Fear of pain.<br />

012. Agoraphobia: Fear of open spaces, being in crowded and public places like markets, or leaving a safe place.<br />

013. Agraphobia: Fear of sexual abuse.<br />

014. Agrizoophobia: Fear of wild animals.<br />
