State Government – Priority Funding for Public School and Transportation<br />

Projects for BRAC<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring the Interagency Committee on School Construction, in<br />

making recommendations to the Board <strong>of</strong> Public Works for public school<br />

construction projects, to make a high priority the funding <strong>of</strong> any project that is<br />

needed to accommodate projected student population growth resulting from<br />

recommendations <strong>of</strong> the 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure<br />

Commission; requiring the <strong>Maryland</strong> Department <strong>of</strong> Transportation, in its<br />

Consolidated Transportation Program, to include as a priority any capital project<br />

that is needed to accommodate projected transportation needs resulting from<br />

recommendations <strong>of</strong> the 2005 Defense Base Realignment and Closure<br />

Commission; and generally relating to priority funding for public school and<br />

transportation projects that are needed to accommodate growth generated by Base<br />

Realignment and Closure (BRAC) recommendations.<br />

medical laboratory director must report to a certain county health <strong>of</strong>ficer; and<br />

generally relating to reportable invasive diseases by laboratories.<br />
