in a certain amount under certain circumstances; authorizing certain individuals<br />

who are nonresidents or part–year residents a certain fraction <strong>of</strong> the credit;<br />

providing for a certain reduction <strong>of</strong> itemized deductions if a certain credit is<br />

claimed under certain circumstances; defining certain terms; requiring the<br />

Comptroller, on or before a certain date, to report certain information to the<br />

<strong>Maryland</strong> Insurance Administration; requiring the Administration, on or before a<br />

certain date, to submit a certain report to the Governor and the <strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong>;<br />

providing for the application <strong>of</strong> this Act; and generally relating to a credit against<br />

the State income tax for health insurance premium contributions.<br />

AN ACT concerning<br />

Medicaid Transparency Act<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> requiring the Department <strong>of</strong> Health and Mental Hygiene to provide<br />

certain notification to certain legislative committees regarding a certain State plan<br />

amendment or waiver application; providing the committees a certain period <strong>of</strong><br />

time to review and comment before the amendment or waiver application is<br />

submitted; and generally relating to notification regarding a State plan amendment<br />

or waiver application in the <strong>Maryland</strong> Medical Assistance Program.<br />
