AN ACT concerning
Health – Job–Related Drug Testing – Breath Tests for Alcohol
FOR the purpose of authorizing certain employers who require certain job–related drug
testing to test a breath specimen using a certain alcohol measurement device;
providing for a certain exception from a provision that allows certain persons to
request independent testing of a certain specimen; authorizing the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt certain regulations; altering certain
definitions; defining a certain term; making stylistic changes; and generally
relating to authorizing employers to use breath tests for testing the presence of
alcohol for job–related drug testing.
