CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT<br />

Elections – Run<strong>of</strong>f Elections<br />

FOR the purpose <strong>of</strong> proposing amendments to the <strong>Maryland</strong> Constitution to require the<br />

<strong>General</strong> <strong>Assembly</strong> to provide for run<strong>of</strong>f elections for certain <strong>of</strong>fices under certain<br />

circumstances; requiring that a run<strong>of</strong>f election be limited only to certain<br />

candidates; establishing procedures for the selection <strong>of</strong> certain persons for certain<br />

<strong>of</strong>fices under certain circumstances; making certain stylistic changes; generally<br />

relating to run<strong>of</strong>f elections for certain elective <strong>of</strong>fices; and submitting this
